The Great Train Robbery

There’s too much use of computer-generated graphics; this movie looks like a video game. The screenplay is dumb and obvious. They didn’t even capitalize on the beautiful desert cinematography. Yet in spite of all the obvious and plentiful flaws, I had a great time at this movie. It’s a heck of a lot of fun. Brendan Fraser is endlessly watchable and the mummy fight scenes are some great pieces of adventure filmmaking. I can’t seriously recommend it, but I certainly did enjoy it.
