Impressions:
That was a great movie. It was great. Compared to other movies it was pretty good. I think every theater should have movies like that. I feel like keeping that movie. Renting it. It was funny.

Plot Points:
Mr. Claw didn’t have a claw yet. And there was this remote control car, and it took a magical foot or something, the remote control car did, and that was pretty cool. But then it went back into a truck. And it went back into a bigger remote control car, and that remote control car went down a ramp and into the truck.

Inspector Gadget wasn’t Inspector Gadget yet. Mr. Claw threw this bomb thing at him and it blew up his car. And then the car hit something that hit this pole that was knocked into a billboard, and it hit the Claw’s car. And then a bowling ball bounced out of the Inspector Gadget’s car and hit Mr. Claw’s hand and that’s how he got the claw.

And then Inspector Gadget was very strange, like a mummy [in traction — ed.]. They put all these parts in him. But he couldn’t move, and flames, and tin cans came out of his fingers and he couldn’t control it. He didn’t know how. He lost part of his memory.

Other plot points:

  • And then the skittles overflowed.
  • There was the dog that pulled off somebody’s underpants.
  • And then she [Claw’s cat] went under the chair in the go-go Gadget mobile.
  • His head fell off. His head fell into the ocean but the body ran away.

Analysis:
How did he make them [the gadgets] pop out? That would be scary to just wake up and *bam*. I don’t mind that, but stuff popping out of your fingers when you don’t want it to...

[In response to the question: “If you could, would you stop being girl and start being gadget?] Do you think I should? I would.

What worked:
I liked everything:

  • Things popped out of his hat
  • The car
  • The mean Inspector Gadget.

What didn’t:
I would have killed the body (of the evil twin) instead of letting the body run away

Conclusions:
That was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Overall I thought it was a very good movie. I would tell mom that it was a great movie and she should watch it. And then she’ll take me to it and I’ll be able to see it 2 times.
